Nitya Patel

MLA’25

Nitya Patel is an urban designer and landscape architecture student fascinated by the messy entanglement of socio-political dynamics and ecology in rapidly urbanizing cities. At the University of Pennsylvania, she explores the idea of landscape and urbanism across disciplines and borders. She is passionate about environmental justice and participatory design tools for empowering communities to shape their own spaces, not simply adapt to them. Recently, Nitya has been learning to be more mindful of her impact on the environment.
