Laura VanKoughnett

Laura VanKoughnett (MLA'26) is a landscape architecture graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania's Weitzman School of Design. With backgrounds in urban planning and environmental justice, they aim to synthesize the realms of sociology, spatial design, and sustainability. Design-wise, they hope to combat income and infrastructure inequities in the urban public in the face of climate change. Her current research interests involve spaces of resistance and liberation within both history and speculative fiction.
