Gabe is a second-year student focused on exploring a broad range of topics and scales surrounding their interest in co-creating landscapes that foster meaningful interaction between people and the places they live. He is passionate about unearthing the complexities of the American public realm and designing with people rather than for them. Using landscape architecture as a medium to reconnect with nature and foster spaces of belonging that encourage connections, and provide comfort. They have an undergraduate degree in urban planning that generated a serious understanding of the social, environmental, and economic systems that shape our built environment. But really, their interest lies in working with people, translating large-scale thinking into human scale design.
