Bianca LaPaz graduated from the College of Charleston in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in sustainable urbanism and has completed certificates in horticulture and permaculture design. Alongside her studies, she is a Special Projects Manager with The Asiko Group, a community engagement consulting firm based in Charleston, SC. In her academic work, she seeks to explore synergistic and tactical resiliency strategies through participatory design, investing in ecosystem services, applying nature-based solutions to the built environment and public landscapes, and empowering ongoing meaningful connection to and stewardship of everchanging place.
