Abbey Levy

Abbey is a Master of Landscape Architecture student at the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania. After earning her bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, she moved to Philadelphia, where time spent working for Philadelphia Parks and Recreation helped solidify her interest in urban green space. Abbey is focusing her research at the McHarg Center on circular soil systems within landscape architecture, specifically how urban street trees respond to a soil blend that reuses materials otherwise destined for the landfill.
